Community Resources

Here are some local (Florida area) resources that you might find helpful! If you aren't local, check out my top 10 list for websites. There you will find information on ways in which you can find support and resources in your area.

This first resource is a website full of agencies that are very helpful when it comes to disabilities and counseling services!

This website is on my top 10 list, but I wanted to include it here because it's the main resource for those who have disabilities.

This is the Student Disability Resource Center at Florida State University. It provides students with the services they need.

This is a rights and advocacy website for those who have disabilities in Florida.

This is the Disability Support Services page for Tallahassee Community College.

This is the Center for Disability Access and Resources (CeDAR) at Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University.

This is the Area and Agency on Aging for North Florida, which provides aging and disability resources to those who need them.

My other blog relating to Chronic Illness and Mental Health:

I'm on the second row on the very left in the hat! This is me with all my campers for Kid's Arthritis Camp. I've volunteered here for nearly 5 years after being a camper myself! Stay tuned for more about the camp and other community resources!
